Russia fired a ballistic missile, likely an Iskander-M with a cluster munition, at Odesa Oblast, the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine reported on Telegram on June 28.
Earlier, an explosion was heard in Odesa, according to Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov, who urged residents to stay in safe places.

The Ukrainian Air Force warned of the threat of further ballistic missile attacks from the temporarily occupied Crimea and reported air defense operations against reconnaissance UAVs in Odesa Oblast.
On June 24, Russia fired two Iskander missiles at civilian infrastructure in Odesa, injuring three people. The attack damaged warehouses of a retail chain, residential buildings, and cars near the impact site in the port city.
