Ballistic missile strike hits Odesa seaport, one injured

Russian forces fired a ballistic missile, likely an Iskander-M, targeting port infrastructure in Odesa on April 6, the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces reported on Telegram on April 7.

Fire broke out as a result of Russian strike, which were extinguished by firefighters.

It is noted that administrative and technical buildings were damaged. In addition, an employee of one of the enterprises was injured, she suffered an acubarotrauma.

Southern Defense Forces added that at midnight, Russia launched Shahed-131/136 attack drones on Ukraine.

Air defense destroyed 11 of them in the sky over Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Several buildings and cars were damaged by debris from downed drones.

On evening of April 6, during an air raid alert, explosions occurred in Odesa and Kherson,where earlier Ukrainian Air Force warned abuot ballistic missile threat from temporarily occupied Crimea.
