Satellite images of the building of the Russian Special Forces University, named after Putin, in the Chechen city of Gudermes, which was targeted by a drone on Oct. 29, were posted on Telegram the following day by Radio Liberty.
The images, taken at 10:10 a.m. local time (GMT+3), show smoke rising from the roof of the university.
According to NV sources in the Ukrainian intelligence services, the drone strike on the university may have been launched from the neighboring Russian republic of Dagestan.
The university, named after Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, was founded in Gudermes in 2013. According to Chechen authorities, thousands of people who later went to war have been trained there since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
