Mayor Ihor Terekhov warned that the coming winter would be the hardest for Kharkiv since the start of the full-scale invasion, as Russian strikes destroyed key transformer substations powering the city.

According to Terekhov, initially, 22,000 households lost power after the attack. Thanks to the efforts of utility and energy workers, however, the number of consumers currently without electricity has been reduced to around 3,500.
