Russian monitoring channels first recorded the flight of missiles on March 10 at 4:52 p.m. in the Pohar district of Bryansk region.
At first, Russian sources were unable to identify the type of target, suggesting the strike could have involved jet-powered drones, Storm Shadow missiles or Neptune missiles.
According to the CyberBoroshno monitoring project, the first strike on the plant’s territory occurred at 4:59 p.m., seven minutes after the missiles were first detected in the Pohar district.
OSINT analysts believe the missiles followed the route: Pohar district — the area near Trubchevsk — Bryansk. The missiles approached the plant from different directions, most of them from the east.
The main part of the strikes hit Building No. 4, with five impacts recorded. Two additional missiles struck other production facilities at the enterprise.
Analysts said the missiles’ approach from the eastern direction may indicate an attempt to bypass air defense zones and use a more complex flight route. This corresponds to the typical operational profile of Storm Shadow missiles, CyberBoroshno said.
On March 10, the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces confirmed that Ukraine’s Defense Forces had carried out strikes with air-launched Storm Shadow missiles against the Kremniy El microelectronics plant in Bryansk.
The General Staff said the attack caused significant damage to the plant’s production facilities.
Bryansk region governor Alexander Bogomaz claimed that “six people were killed” and “37 others injured” during the missile attack on Bryansk. The Russian official did not mention the strike on the plant but warned residents about “smoke from combustion products in the Sovetsky district,” where the Kremniy El facility is located.
The Defense Express outlet reported that Kremniy El is one of Russia’s largest suppliers of military microelectronics, into which the Kremlin has invested billions.
Ukraine has previously attacked the plant in 2025, 2024 and 2023. It produces microelectronics used in missile systems, Pantsir air defense systems, Iskander missiles, radar systems, electronic warfare equipment and Russian drones.
