Kyiv was rocked by a series of explosions on March 25, as Russia launched two ballistic missiles from Crimea at Ukraine's capital, Kyiv city administration reported on Telegram.

Although Ukrainian Air Defence shot down the missiles, falling debris caused damage and injuries across several districts, including the central Pechersk district. This attack coincided with Ukraine's SBU security service's Day.

The Ukrainian Air Force detected the missile threat from the south, with Kyiv's air raid sirens sounding simultaneously with the explosions.

Missile fragments destroyed part of the building of the Boychuk Academy of Decorative-Applied Arts and Design in the Pecherskyi district of Kyiv, said Mayor Vitali Klitschko.A nearby student dormitory with many people, thankfully, escaped harm, according to Klitschko.
