Russian drone attack hits energy facilities in Chernihiv and Zhytomyr oblasts

The Russian forces struck energy facilities in Chernihiv and Zhytomyr oblasts in its overnight drone attack, Ukrenergo reported on Telegram on July 26.
Industrial and household consumers in some areas of Zhytomyr Oblast faced power cuts due to facilities damaged.
Energy supply has been restored in most houses, repair works are underway, Ukrenergo said.
An air alert was declared throughout Ukraine due to the enemy MiG-31K aircraft takeoff on the night of July 26. The air raid was again issued later due to a new Shahed drones attack - 22 were launched in total, but 20 of them were eliminated, the Air Force reported.
The Air Defense Forces operated in Kyiv Oblast. Russian drones hit an infrastructure facility and a hostel in the city of Nizhyn, in Chernihiv Oblast, injuring one person.
