"As a result of a UAV attack on an industrial site in Cherepovets, eight hits were recorded," he claimed.
"There is no damage to the district's critical infrastructure. No casualties."
Filimonov did not specify which "industrial site" was attacked but stated that the region's operational units had been "put on high alert."
Drones struck Apatit (Cherepovets chemical cluster of the PhosAgro group) — Europe's largest producer of phosphorus-containing fertilizers, phosphoric and sulfuric acids, and one of Russia's leading producers of NPK fertilizers, the Exilenova+ Telegram channel wrote, citing local residents.
Drones also attacked Leningrad Oblast overnight on March 27. New strikes and fires were reported at the Primorsk and Ust-Luga ports.
