The Wolly module is equipped with:
A 7.62 mm or 12.7 mm machine gun,
An ammunition supply system with automatic feeding,
A thermal imaging camera,
An automated system for target detection, recognition, and tracking.
According to the Defense Ministry, Wolly is relatively lightweight, allowing a single soldier to transport it to its installation site. Its battery can operate for several days without needing a recharge.
"Ukrainian engineers incorporated advanced technological solutions into the combat module based on requests from troops and actual combat experience of Ukrainian defenders. Several suggestions regarding control methods and the automation of specific operational processes were taken into account," Deputy Defense Minister Dmytro Klymenkov stated.
Earlier, in November, the Defense Ministry also approved the use of Tavria, a remote-controlled turret equipped with dual machine guns.
