“Our warriors used more drones than the occupiers in July,” said the president.
“This should be a steady trend on the front—across all types of drones available to our units.”
Zelenskyy clarified this includes a variety of UAVs, beyond just reconnaissance or FPV (first-person view) systems.
“From FPV to all others, including our long-range drones, which are already having a strategic impact on the war,” he added.
Earlier, Deputy Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Andriy Lebedenko stated that drones on the battlefield have surpassed artillery in effectiveness.
On July 31, the Strategic Industries Ministry reported that Ukraine could produce over three million UAVs per year, although the government can only cover part of the production costs.
