The enemy used:
- three Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Russian Kursk Oblast and the temporarily occupied Crimea
- two Kh-59/69 guided missiles from airspace of Kursk Oblast
- 39 Shahed attack UAVs from Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Crimea
During the attack, the Air Force's radio engineering troops detected and escorted air targets in more than 10 oblasts of Ukraine.
Units of mobile firing groups of all the Ukrainian Armed Forces, anti-aircraft missile troops, and airborne electronic warfare were involved in repelling this air attack.
Ukraine shot down 35 Russian Russian drones and did not allowed enemy's Kh-59/69 guided missiles reach their targets.
Air defense was operating in Sumy, Poltava, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kherson, Dnipro, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Cherkasy oblasts.
Russians launched several groups of attack UAVs towards Ukraine with air raid alerts declared in a number of regions. Kyiv governor, Serhiy Popko, said that all drones Russians used to attack Kyiv were destroyed by air defense forces on the outskirts of the capital.
At the same time, Russia launched an air strike on critical infrastructure in Shostka district of Sumy Oblast.
