Ukraine struck a Russian naval vessel in the Black Sea, an unmanned aerial vehicle launch and storage installation in Russia's Oryol Oblast, an oil facility in Samara Oblast, and a military supply depot in Bryansk Oblast, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on Oct. 1.

"These are precisely the kind of just responses that are needed right now. We will continue to deprive Russia of the capability to continue this war," he said in a public address.

Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Ukrainian military personnel who work tirelessly to "return this sick Russian war back to where it came from."

Along with the announcement, Zelenskyy released combat video footage capturing the moment of the strike against the Russian naval vessel in the Black Sea.

Deep-Strike Campaign Inside Russia

Overnight into Sept. 28, Ukrainian defense forces alongside Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducted a series of precision long-range drone and missile strikes targeting oil refining infrastructure and military installations across Russia and the Black Sea basin.

On Sept. 26, Ukrainian units hit manufacturing infrastructure at the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant situated in the city of Azov, Rostov Oblast.

According to OSINT Absolutely Reliable investigative monitor, the precision strike on the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant damaged at least five specialized manufacturing workshops critical to optical components for Russian military hardware.
