“Thanks to a well-structured defense and close coordination with brigade commanders, we’re holding the line and breaking the enemy across critical sectors,” Naiev said. “We’ve reduced our losses by 15% and gained ground on three key axes.”

According to Naiev, Ukrainian troops have nearly doubled the number of Russian invaders eliminated in the past month — 9,641 in total. Additionally, Ukrainian forces destroyed 75 Russian artillery systems, 19 tanks, 37 armored vehicles, 729 trucks and tactical vehicles including ATVs and buggies, and 16 ammunition depots.

Naiev also described a massive Russian assault in the Novopavlivka sector, where five tanks, 12 armored vehicles, and 25 motorcycles advanced from three directions.

“But our aerial reconnaissance spotted them 5 to 10 kilometers out,” he said. “We turned their armor into burning wreckage. As a result of our artillery strike and kamikaze drone attack, we destroyed over 70 occupiers, two tanks, six armored vehicles, two trucks, and 14 motorcycles. Their offensive was crushed to pieces!”

Despite heavy losses, Russia continues its assaults in an effort to reach the administrative border between Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, Naiev said.

“The enemy isn’t letting up in the Novopavlivka and Pokrovsk directions,” he added, noting that Russian forces have doubled their activity over the past month.

In April, Ukrainian defenders recorded 1,916 enemy assaults, 8,275 bomb drops from drones, 16,286 FPV drone strikes — triple the previous number — and 9,734 artillery attacks.

“Mass reconnaissance flights by Orlan, Supercam, and ZALA drones, daily tactical airstrikes… The enemy rains down fire and steel, ignoring their own losses,” Naiev said. “But every step they take is in our sights.”

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian forces eliminated 1,220 Russian troops in the past 24 hours. Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, more than 970,000 Russian soldiers have been killed.
