A unit of Ukraine’s military intelligence agency, known as Prymary, struck a Russian Valdai radar system, electronic warfare systems and two landing boats in occupied Crimea, Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR) said on Telegram on March 18.

They said that in the first half of March, the “Prymara” unit continued striking Russian air defense systems in occupied Crimea.

According to their data, during one of the operations a modern Valdai radar station designed to detect small drones was hit.

Intelligence officials also said they managed to disable an electronic warfare station, a relay system for Geran/Gerbera-type drones, and elements of the GLONASS navigation system.

In addition, two BK-16 project landing boats were destroyed along with their crews, the report said.

On Dec. 14, 2025, it was reported that Ukrainian military intelligence special forces in occupied Crimea destroyed two expensive Russian radar systems — the 39N6 Kasta-2E2 and the 96L6 — which are part of the S-400 system.
