Russia attacked Ukraine with 181 drones overnight on Aug. 2-3, including Shahed attack drones, jet-powered variants, Gerbera and Italmas drones, and Parodiya decoys, the Ukrainian Air Force said.
Ukrainian air defenses shot down or suppressed 163 Russian drones across northern, southern and eastern Ukraine as of 7:30 a.m., according to preliminary figures.
Fourteen attack drones struck 13 locations, while debris fell at two other sites.
Russia launched the drones from Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol and Shatalovo, as well as Russian-occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea.
Air raid alerts were declared across several Ukrainian regions during the attack.
Air defenses were active in Dnipro, while a Russian drone struck a gas station in Kharkiv.
