Ukraine’s Fire Point to launch rocket fuel production in Denmark in 2026

Terekh said the company is currently obtaining the necessary permits to launch production, including environmental approvals and waste management authorization.

“It turned out to be a bit more complicated than doing this in Ukraine, but not as bad as I expected. For the European system, it is also a challenge to adapt to the pace of wartime life that we are used to in Ukraine,” she said.

According to Terekh, the first phase of the plant is expected to open in 2026, with full-scale operations planned for 2027. The facility will produce rocket fuel, engine casings, and connector components, as well as assemble rocket engines.

On March 16, Fire Point co-founder and chief designer Denys Shtilerman said Ukraine continues to develop its domestically produced FP-7 ballistic missile, an analog to the U.S.-made ATACMS system but several times cheaper.
