He emphasized that the problem of missile shortages will remain a pressing issue at least until the war concludes.
"That is why the issue of communication with partners is always ongoing, even publicly, as you can see. And even our soldiers are making appeals to somehow influence this process," Ihnat added.
Mass Russian attack on June 2
Overnight on June 2, Russian forces launched Shahed kamikaze drones at Ukraine. Additionally, the Ukrainian Air Force recorded launches of Kalibr cruise missiles.
The strike on Kyiv killed four people and injured 64 others, including three children. Destruction of residential buildings, fires, and damage to civilian infrastructure were recorded across eight districts of the capital, with rescuers continuing to eliminate the aftermath of the attack.
Explosions were heard in Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, and Sumy.
The Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 656 drones and 73 missiles, including eight Zircon and 33 ballistic missiles. Direct hits from 30 ballistic missiles, three cruise missiles, and 33 drones were recorded across 38 locations. Falling debris from downed UAVs was also recorded in at least 15 locations.
