Ukrainian delegation achieved progress on specific issues during negotiations with U.S. representatives in Florida, National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov wrote on Telegram on March 22.

"At the meetings, we focused on the issues of reliable security guarantees and the humanitarian track, in particular, the exchange and return of our citizens," he clarified.

"We have progress in coordinating positions and further narrowing the circle of unresolved issues."

Ukrainian delegation reported the results of its work to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and will present a detailed report upon returning to Ukraine, he added.

"We thank the United States for its systemic involvement in the negotiation process," Umerov wrote.

"We hope that the achieved momentum will allow us to move to the next stage of meetings."

There are signals regarding the possible continuation of exchanges and discussions of security guarantees for Ukraine and Europe following two days of meetings between the Ukrainian delegation and U.S. representatives, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported earlier.

All aspects of the meetings will be discussed in detail after the negotiating group returns to Ukraine, he noted, expressing hope that the possible continuation of exchanges will confirm the effectiveness of diplomacy.

A meeting between the Ukrainian delegation and Trump representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner took place in Miami, and the negotiations will continue on March 22, Zelenskyy reported on Mar. 21.

"It is important for all of us in the world that diplomacy continues and we are trying to end this war — Russia's war against Ukraine. No one needs war," Zelenskyy stated, emphasizing that the most important thing is to determine how ready the Russian side is for a real end to the war.
