It is reported that the occupying forces, having formed assault groups, attempted to advance toward Bochkove along two routes.
“Thanks to the coordinated work of units and clear command by the Joint Forces grouping, the advance of enemy units was detected in time. The enemy personnel were subjected to combined strikes using artillery and unmanned systems. After sustaining losses, the enemy retreated to their initial positions,” the video caption said.
According to radio intercepts, at least two invading troops were killed and several others were wounded.
On April 21, Viktor Trehubov, spokesman for the Joint Forces grouping, said Russian forces had intensified assault operations in Kharkiv Oblast, particularly near Kupiansk and Vovchansk, seeking to pressure Ukrainian positions and reduce the bridgehead east of the Oskil River.
According to Trehubov, there is a general increase in the intensity of fighting across the entire area of responsibility, particularly in the South Slobozhanskyi and Kupiansk directions. The Velykyi Burluk direction remains relatively calm, he said. At the same time, active Russian assault operations continue near Vovchansk and Kupiansk.
On April 22, Vitalii Sarantsev, head of communications for the 14th Army Corps, said Russian forces had intensified strikes on the Bohodukhiv community in Kharkiv Oblast but showed no signs of preparing an offensive in that direction.
According to Sarantsev, the occupying forces have become more active along the entire front line, and Bohodukhiv is no exception. The enemy is striking along the state border and in nearly all border settlements.
