In the coming months, the Ukrainian military will focus on
attacking Russian supply
routes and depots 120–150 kilometers beyond the front line, President
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on April 29.
“One of our priorities for the coming months is ‘middle strikes’ — that is, inflicting damage on the occupier to a depth of 120 to 150 kilometers,” Zelenskyy said after meeting with Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
Zelenskyy said the emphasis is on hitting Russian logistics, their warehouses and headquarters, as well as air defense systems and other elements of Russia’s offensive capability.
He added that Ukraine has already contracted five times as many medium-range strike systems this year as it did in 2025.
“We will continue to scale up contracting and production,”
Zelenskyy said.
