Russia deploys 140 UAVs against Ukraine overnight, 16 locations hit

Russian troops unleashed a mass nighttime barrage against Ukraine, launching over 140 drones, with 24 striking targets across 16 locations, Air Force reported on March 6.

Russia attacked Ukraine on the night of March 6 with 141 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmaz types, and others; about 100 of them were Shaheds.

Preliminary reports indicated 111 Russian drones were eliminated in the north, south, and east of the country. Hits by 24 strike UAVs were recorded at 16 locations, along with the falling of downed targets and debris at one location.

Air Force warned that as of 8:30 a.m., Russian drone attack was ongoing, and several UAVs remain in the sky over Ukraine.

On the night of March 6, Russia attacked Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with drones; there was a hit on a nine-story building, and over 30 houses were damaged, as well as educational institutions, infrastructure facilities, and more. No casualties were reported.
