Russian occupiers launched a limited offensive on the city of Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast, using several units of armored vehicles, but Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled the assault, DeepState monitoring group wrote on Nov. 13.

The enemy breakthrough attempt took place in the afternoon of Nov. 13. Two columns of enemy vehicles headed towards the city from the area of Lyman Pershiy, moving towards the Svatove highway.

DeepState shared a video showing the enemy's attack on Kupiansk on Nov. 13 and the destruction of the invaders' equipment.

“The first column consisted of two MT-LBs (multi-purpose armored transport vehicles), a BMP (infantry fighting vehicle), and a tank. The composition of the second column remained unknown, as it moved after darkness had fallen,” analytics reported.

One of the enemy MT-LBs was destroyed by Ukrainian forces in the forest. Another reached the Svatovska Street area, where it was destroyed on Nekrasova Street in Kupiansk.

Around fifteen Russian occupiers fled from the destroyed vehicle and scattered into the nearby houses.

“The tank was also destroyed on the same street, north of the battle site," the DeepState message wrote.

"Thanks to the efforts of the 116th, the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigades' UAVs and support from neighboring units, part of the enemy's landing force was eliminated.”

The monitoring group representatives added that Russian occupiers attempted to send reinforcements to their forces in Kupiansk, but those too were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.
