A successful strike on the military airfield in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia’s Krasnodar Krai was carried out late on Feb. 5 by units of the Unmanned Systems Forces  in cooperation with other components of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the General Staff reported on Telegram the following morning.

Russian forces use the airfield to store, prepare and launch Shahed attack drones on Ukrainian territory, as well as fighter jets that regularly conduct combat missions in Zaporizhzhya and Kherson oblast.

“We have confirmed hits and explosions in the target area. A fire broke out,” the statement said, adding that the attacks on targets involved in the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine and terrorizing the civilian population will continue.
