Ukrainian FPV drone pilot cooks dinner for comrades on the front line

The 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade, named after Prince Roman the Great, shared a Facebook video showing Roman preparing a hearty meal while his drone recharged.

“What does an FPV drone pilot need to work well? Not just a good drone and skilled hands,” Roman joked as he chopped vegetables. “A tasty dinner too, preferably with meat. You can’t fight on an empty stomach! While the drone charges, I recharge my brothers-in-arms — potatoes with meat and mushrooms, salad, dessert, everything just like at home.”

The brigade added with a smile: “A full pilot is an accurate pilot. How else can you keep FPV navigation steady if your stomach is growling louder than the drone? After dinner, the pilots went back to work. We’ll show the results soon.”
