Reserve Major Oleksiy Hetman, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, believes the invaders are gearing up for more extensive shelling of Ukraine, as indicated by recent drone attacks, and he emphasized on Radio NV the need to prepare for a large missile assault.

Forbes reports Russia can produce between 132 and 171 missiles per month.

Oleksiy Hetman warned that the longer the interval between attacks, the more missiles Russia can accumulate.

“It has been a month and two days since there have been no large-scale rocket attacks on our territory, which means the next attack could be as powerful as the one on Aug. 26-27. If they delay until mid-October, it could be even stronger. They will not stop launching missiles at us,” Hetman said.

He also pointed out that Russia is testing Ukraine's air defense capabilities with drone strikes, stating, “This is intelligence. They are already using Starlinks for this.”

On the evening of Sept. 27, Russian forces launched several groups of Shahed drones toward Ukraine, resulting in explosions in Dnipro and prompting air defense activity in Kyiv Oblast and the capital.

In Sumy, the Russians attacked a hospital twice, killing at least nine people.

During the night and morning of Sept. 26, Russian troops also targeted Ukraine with missiles, and air defense managed to shoot down 66 of 78 drones and four of six missiles.
