Kamala Harris's book, The Truths We Hold, will be published in Ukrainian, Ukrainian printing house Vivat wrote on its Facebook on Sept. 19.
The rights for the translation were secured in August, following Harris's nomination as the Democratic presidential candidate.
“We didn’t know if she would be the sole candidate from the Democrats,” Vivat representatives explained.
“Some of us were convinced, others were skeptical. But we all agreed that Ukrainians should read this book. So, we took the risk, though we’re unsure yet if it was the right decision.”

Harris’s book offers deep insights into her life journey and the path of one of the most influential women in American politics.
“This book is not a political platform or a list of proposals. Instead, it’s a collection of ideas, perspectives, and stories from my life and from many people I’ve met along the way,” Harris said.
