Drones strike petrochemical plant in Russia’s Stavropol Krai

He claimed drones 'attempted to strike facilities in Budyonnovsk' and that fires broke out within the industrial zone.

However, he did not specify which site was targeted.

Telegram channel Astra, which analyzed footage from the scene, wrote the strike hit Stavrolen petrochemical plant.

The plant has been repeatedly targeted by drones of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

It was struck on Nov. 12 and on Oct. 29, 2025, when a fire broke out at the site. Regional governor Vladimir Vladimirov confirmed the Oct. 29 attack, claiming “no significant damage”.

In November, Ukraine’s General Staff noted that Stavrolen conducts full-cycle hydrocarbon processing and produces polymers used in composite materials, casings, seals, and insulation for various types of Russian military equipment — including UAVs components.
