Power fully restored to Sumy’s water facilities, city’s supply resumes

Power has been fully restored to all water intake facilities in Sumy after Russian night attack, water supply is being returned to the city as of 10:30 a.m. EET, local authorities reported on Facebook on Sept. 17.
Water pumping stations are operating normally, and the standard water pressure in the city is being restored.
Earlier reports indicated that, due to Russian strikes on Sumy, water was being supplied at reduced pressure. Power outage also caused the suspension of trolleybuses operating in the city.
The Russian troops launched a large-scale Shahed drone attack on the city overnight on Sept. 17.
