Movenko posted photos showing two girls and three boys wearing work gloves, helping to clean up the rubble near a damaged residential building. They worked alongside utility workers and adults, helping remove debris left by the Russian strike.
“These are the children from Solomyanskii district. Their summer break isn’t at the beach — it’s in shelters, under sirens," he wrote.
"This is their wartime reality: shattered glass and scattered bricks. Once again, these boys and girls came of their own accord — clearing rubble, moving planks, stacking bricks."
"No complaints. No hiding. Just doing what they could.
Little heroes of our time. When I look at them — I believe we’ll endure everything,” Movenko added.
In the comments, many social media users expressed their deep gratitude to the children and their parents for their bravery and solidarity.
