Russia's 'brutal attack' on Kharkiv only possible because Ukraine lacks proper air defenses - Zelenskyy

Seven people were killed in Kharkiv and a massive fire erupted at a printing house after Russia launched at least 15 missiles in what Zelenskyy called "an extremely brutal Russian attack."
While addressing the attack in his comments to the nation, Zelenskyy said it is time to speak openly about why Russia can still carry out such terror attacks.
"Only because Ukraine still has limitations in defense,” Zelenskyy told the nation.
“This is a shortage of air defense systems that the world actually possesses. This is the lack of range for our soldiers and the absolute lack of an opportunity to destroy the very source of Russian terror near our borders, in particular the missile launchers that, in fact, are hitting Ukraine — claiming our people’s lives."
More efforts and determination are required from world leaders to stop Russian aggression, Zelenskyy noted, adding that Ukraine was grateful for all Western support.
