In particular, Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanov has been added to the personal composition of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine. At the same time, Military Intelligence Chief Oleh Ivashchenko was removed.
In addition, the president dismissed Serhii Andrushchenko from the position of First Deputy Head in Security Service of Ukraine and Head of the Anti-Terrorist Center. Oleksandr Poklad was appointed as the new First Deputy Head of the Security Service.
Denys Kylymnyk was appointed Deputy Head of the SBU and Head of the Anti-Terrorist Center.
Andrii Tupikov was transferred from the post of Head of the Counterintelligence Department to the position of Deputy Head of the SBU.
Oleksandr Dubrovin was dismissed from the post of Head of the Military Counterintelligence Department of the SBU.
On Jan. 2, Zelenskyy appointed Kyrylo Budanov, then Chief of the Military Intelligence, as Head of the Presidential Office, while Oleh Ivashchenko, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, was appointed to replace him.
Zelenskyy earlier announced that he proposed First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov as a candidate to head Defense Ministry, while current Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal was offered the position of Energy Minister.
