Zelenskyy noted that he congratulated Ukrainian military personnel on Sergeant's Day.
“Sergeants are the warriors without whom the efficient work of officers and our units, in general, would be unimaginable,” the president said.
“I am grateful to all sergeants who truly set an example for soldiers. The strength of our entire Ukrainian army lies in the people who serve with dedication and resilience.”
He also reported that he honored the best military personnel with state awards and received briefings from commanders regarding the situation in Donetsk and Kharkiv oblasts.
Earlier, Zelenskyy visited Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast, where he met with Ukrainian defenders. There, he visited the location of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade, which defends the city.
