Kirovohrad Oblast was under Russian drone attack for over 10 hours, leaving three killed and 25 locations struck, the State Emergency Service (SES) reported on Oct. 15.

Visual documentation of the devastation caused by a protracted, mass Russian aerial assault on Kropyvnytskyi and Kirovohrad Oblast in central Ukraine was released online, showing widespread blazes and extensive damage to civil infrastructure.

SES clarified that Kirovohrad Oblast was under continuous bombardment by Russian strike drones for over ten hours. The attacks killed three people and left six others injured.

According to emergency rescue teams, direct hits were registered across industrial manufacturing plants, logistics complexes, warehouse facilities, multi-story apartment buildings, and adjoining residential courtyards in Kropyvnytskyi. Large fires erupted at several impact sites.

Russian forces also struck transport infrastructure facilities across both Kropyvnytskyi and Novoukrainka districts, sparking further localized fires. In addition to commercial targets, the drone strikes damaged residential houses, adjacent private yards, and parked civilian vehicles.

Authorities documented 25 distinct impact locations across the oblast in total. SES rescue units and firefighting teams remain deployed to extinguish active blazes and clear rubble, while the full scope of property damage and casualties continues to be assessed.

Nationwide Scope of the Russian Barrage

Overnight into Oct. 15, Russian forces launched two Kh-59 guided cruise missiles and 580 strike drones across Ukrainian territory.

Ukrainian defense authorities confirmed impacts across 31 separate sites nationwide, with debris from intercepted aerial targets causing additional fires and damage at 11 further locations.
