Russian attacks damage post office, car wash, and private homes in Kramatorsk — photos
Russia attacked the city of Kramatorsk in Donetsk Oblast using strike drones, multiple civilian sites suffered damage, Kramatorsk City Military Administration head Oleksandr Honcharenko reported on Facebook on June 16.
As a result of the enemy shelling, a post office branch and a car wash were damaged. Fortunately, there were no deaths or injuries.
Late in the evening of June 15, the Russian army also shelled the municipality outskirts, damaging private residential buildings. No casualties have been reported.
Honcharenko noted that the destruction scale is still being assessed. Emergency services are working at the scene.
In the early hours of June 16, air raid alerts sounded across several Ukraine's oblasts due to the threat of Russian strike drones. Explosions were reported in Kyiv, Sumy, and Khmelnytskyi oblasts.
In Zaporizhzhya, a fire broke out at an industrial facility following a Russian attack. In Kyiv, two people were injured.
According to the Air Force, air defense destroyed 125 of 138 Russian drones launched overnight. Donetsk Oblast was the primary target of the attack.
