In de-occupied Snihurivka, Mykolaiv Oblast, entry and exit from the settlement have been restricted for 10 days, the head of the local military administration Ivan Kukhta reported on Telegram on Nov. 14.
He explained that this decision was related to the need to track down collaborators and to carry out the demining of the territories.
"Due to the filtration measures and the demining of social and residential facilities in the town, entry and exit to Snihurivka is limited for at least another 10 days," Kukhta said.
He added that safety had to come first.
On Nov. 10, Ukrainian forces regained control over the town of Snihurivka in Mykolaiv Oblast. The flag of Ukraine was raised there.
On Nov. 12, after the liberation from the Russian troops, a torture chamber was discovered in the town, where civilians had been abused.
Snihurivka was one of the key settlements which, once taken, opened the way for the liberation of the city of Kherson.
