ACTED, USAID, and Ukraine launch new aid program for IDPs and frontline civilians
The Ministry of Reintegration and the international organization ACTED are launching a new program to provide humanitarian support to the war-affected population. Ukrainians can receive financial assistance in the amount of 10,800 hryvnias ($288) under this program, the Reintegration Ministry reported on Jan. 24.
Eligibility for assistance
The Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers has announced a new assistance project called Response Consortium: Providing Multisectoral Humanitarian Assistance to the Conflict-Affected Population in Ukraine (2023-2024).
It will work to enhance the capacities of conflict-impacted communities by expanding access to humanitarian assistance across various sectors.
The project is funded by the U.S. Government through the USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) and implemented by ACTED, an international non-governmental organization in Ukraine.
The project is targeted at IDPs and people affected by the military conflict who live in the de-occupied, frontline, and stable territories of Ukraine, as well as in temporarily occupied territories.
Where and what kind of assistance is available
The project will provide multi-purpose financial assistance in the amount of 3,600 hryvnias ($96) per person per month, paid in one sum of 10,800 hryvnias ($288) to cover the three-month needs of IDPs and conflict-affected persons.

The project will last until the end of 2024 and will be implemented in the following oblasts: Chernivtsi, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Luhansk, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zaporizhzhya, Zakarpattya and Zhytomyr.
