Russian forces carried out a strike on an energy facility in Chernihiv Oblast in northern Ukraine, local energy provider Chernihivoblenergo reported on Oct. 6.

The attack targeted the Ichnia district.

Energy workers have already started repair efforts, but restoration will be carried out in line with the security situation in the area.

“We ask residents to be patient — we are doing everything possible to restore electricity as quickly as we can,” the company wrote.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
