Russian troops launched an attack on Kupyansk of Kharkiv Oblast, injuring two civilian women, the head of Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration (OVA) Oleh Synehubov reported on Telegram on Feb. 23.

He said doctors are currently providing the victims with the necessary assistance.

Synehubov said that on Feb. 22, around 10:30, the enemy attacked industrial facilities in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv with four S-300 missiles. Two civilians were slightly injured.

During the past day, the enemy shelled at least 18 settlements in the Kupyansk, Chuhuyiv, Kharkiv and Izyum districts of the oblast.

A 40-year-old civilian man was wounded in the village of Podoly, Kupyansk district, as a result of shelling. He was hospitalized in moderate condition.

In Vovchansk, as a result of massive shelling, six residential buildings and two educational institutions were damaged. In the village of Nesterne of the Vovchanska community, farm buildings were damaged.

As a result of the shelling of the village of Cherneshchena, Izyum district, a residential building was destroyed, and electricity poles were damaged.
