Russian forces struck an industrial enterprise in Dnipro during an overnight missile attack, regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha reported on Oct. 7.

"We are clarifying information regarding potential casualties. The threat remains active. Please remain in shelters until the all-clear sounds," he wrote.

Local media and monitoring channels reported loud detonations reverberating across Dnipro at approximately 3:29 a.m. Shortly before the explosions, the Air Force Command issued an urgent ballistic missile threat alert warning of high-speed targets inbound.

Simultaneous Strikes on Kyiv and Central Ukraine

Nationwide air assault: Overnight into Oct. 7, the Russian military unleashed a mass aerial bombardment across Ukraine deploying both strike UAVs and cruise and ballistic missiles.

Capital under fire: Detonations and falling intercept wreckage were documented across four districts of Kyiv, triggering emergency response deployments and municipal structural damage assessments.

Kremenchuk axis: In the same early-morning operational wave, the Air Force tracked ballistic trajectories directed toward the central Ukrainian manufacturing hub of Kremenchuk.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.

Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.

For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
