New explosions rang out in Russia's Perm Krai following an SBU drone attack and a massive fire at the Perm oil pumping station, Astra Telegram channel wrote on April 30.

New footage from Perm showing thick white smoke rising over the city after a morning explosion is circulating online.

Meanwhile, the fire at the Perm line production and dispatch station (LPDS) continues and is scaling up, monitoring channels report.

The firefighting efforts are ongoing, Perm Krai Governor Dmitry Makhonin claimed, alleging an absence of threat to people and the environment.

SBU drones struck the station on April 29. Almost all tanks containing oil products caught fire following the strike.

The station belongs to Russia's Transneft and is a strategically important hub of the main oil transport system. Oil is distributed in four directions through the LPDS, including to the Perm oil refinery, SBU stated.

Perm was covered in thick black smoke after the strike, and an "oil rain" fell in the city, which was also previously recorded in Tuapse following several strikes on the port and refinery.

The facility is located 1,500 km from the Ukrainian border.
