Ukrainian air defense takes out all enemy drones threatening Kyiv
All Shahed drones approaching Kyiv were successfully neutralized by air defense after the Russian forces attempted to strike the capital, the Kyiv Military Administration reported on Oct. 11.
Local authorities received no reports of damage or casualties.
The drones approached Kyiv from various directions, marking the fifth air attack on the city since the beginning of October, city administration noted.
Drones remain in Kyiv Oblast, combat operations are ongoing, the officials added.
Explosions were heard in Kyiv overnight on Oct. 11 as air defense systems operated in the city, mayor Vitali Klitschko reported.
