Ukrainian Army repels several enemy attacks in past day, says General Staff

Ukraine’s army repelled several enemy attacks over the past day, the Ukrainian military’s General Staff said in its morning update on Oct. 13.
In particular, enemy attacks were fought off near the settlements of Bakhmutske, Ozarianivka, Ivanhrad, Bakhmut, and Maryinka in Donetsk Oblast.
The Ukrainian Air Force carried out 32 air strikes over the past 24 hours. It has been confirmed that 25 enemy storage locations of weapons and military equipment and seven hostile air defense systems were struck, the General Staff said.
Ukrainian missiles and artillery units also struck six concentrations of troops, weaponry and military equipment and four ammunition depots over the past day. Enemy artillery positions, electronic warfare, and other military targets were also hit.
According to the General Staff, the Russian invaders launched three missile and 21 air strikes over the past day, as well as carrying out 104 attacks with the use of multiple launch rocket systems.
Buildings were damaged by enemy fire in more than 40 settlements across the country, including Mykolayiv, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Cherniakhiv, Bilohorivka, Spirne, Pavlivka, Myrne, and Davydiv Brid.
Invading Russian forces also fired in the following areas:
- in the Siversky area, they used mortars and barrel artillery near Myropillya, Seredyna-Buda, Stukalivka, and Pavlivka;
- in the Slobozhanske area, the enemy fired using artillery of various types near Buhruvatka, Hrianykivka, Dvorichna, Nova Vovcha, Strilecha, Udy, and Chervona Zoria;
- in the Kramatorsk area, the invaders fired using tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery along the entire contact line near Bilohorivka, Zarichne, Novoiehorivka, Serebrianka, Spirne, Terny, Torske, and Yampolivka;
- in the Bakhmut area, the territories along the entire contact line around Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Zelenopillia, Soledar, Mayorsk, New York, and Yakovlivka were shelled using tanks and artillery of various calibers;
- in the Avdiyivka area, the enemy used tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery to attack areas near Avdiyivka, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Nevelske, and Pervomaiske;
- in Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhya areas, the enemy shelled more than 15 settlements, including Bohoiavlenka, Vremivka, Zaliznychne, Mykilske, Novopil, Novosilka, and Poltavka;
- in the South Buh area, more than 20 settlements along the entire front line were hit by enemy fire.
