The Ukrainian military has successfully repelled enemy attempts to storm the town of Severodonetsk and the village of Toshkivka, Ukraine's General Staff said in a Facebook post on June 15.
The fighting in the area continues, it said.
The General Staff said that in the Severodonetsk area, the enemy fired at the Ukrainian positions with mortars, artillery and multiple rocket launchers.
In addition, civilian infrastructure in the settlements of Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Toshkivka, Ustynivka, Borivske, and Metelkine came under fire, while enemy army aircraft launched an air strike near Bila Hora.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy indiscriminately fired artillery at the settlements of Ustynivka, Toshkivka, New York, Novomykhailivka, Antonivka, and Kamenski Dachi.
According to the General Staff, the invaders did not take any active action in the Lyman area. However, civilian infrastructure near Sydorove, Maiaky and Zakitne came under artillery fire.
