Ukraine says Belarusian facilities are helping Russia conduct drone strikes

Zelenskyy said special equipment deployed in Belarus' Gomel and Brest regions is helping Russia carry out drone attacks against Ukraine's Zhytomyr, Rivne, and Volyn regions, as well as against energy infrastructure and railway facilities.
He repeated an earlier warning that Belarus has one week to dismantle the equipment. The Ukrainian president previously stated that if Belarus failed to do so, "we will do it ourselves."
Zelenskyy also said Ukraine is aware of all Belarusian enterprises working for Russia, including those supplying weapons components and fuel.
"Every enterprise that supplies components for Russian weapons — for armored vehicles, for missile systems — and every enterprise supplying Russia with fuel for the war is drawing Belarus into the war. Ukraine does not want this, and we have warned the de facto leadership of Belarus, which influences these developments," Zelenskyy said.
According to the president, gasoline supplies from Belarus to Russia increased 13-fold during the first five months of 2026 compared with the same period last year, while diesel fuel exports tripled.
"Unfortunately, this helps Russia adapt to pressure and does not bring peace any closer. It should be the opposite: peace should be getting closer. Belarus should do the things its de facto leadership speaks about through unofficial channels so that we in Ukraine can truly see that Belarus is genuinely against this war," Zelenskyy said.
