Kharkiv withstands 18 drone strikes and ballistic fire in mass Russian raid

City officials said 14 people sought medical assistance following the strikes, with 10 now hospitalized in moderate condition. The bombardment impacted 12 separate locations across the city, resulting in damage to 65 residential buildings.

The attack on Kharkiv was part of a larger, coordinated strike against Ukrainian infrastructure and residential areas. Air Force reported that Russia used a total of 39 missiles and 420 strike drones, including two Zircon anti-ship missiles launched from the occupied Crimea.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that damage was recorded in eight different oblasts:
Zaporizhzhya: Damage was reported at an Epicentr shopping center and several residential buildings; nine people were injured.
Kyiv: Falling debris was documented in three districts.
Poltava Oblast: 20k+ households lost power due to infrastructure damage.
Odesa Oblast: An energy infrastructure facility was struck and damaged.
Kryvyi Rih: Local authorities reported significant destruction after several strikes.
City and regional authorities continue to assess the full extent of the damage as repair crews work to restore power and clear debris in the affected areas.
