Air defense downs around 15 drones approaching Kyiv - military administration

Approximately 15 drones were detected and eliminated near Kyiv, air raid alert sounded three times in the capital overnight amid Russian UAVs attack threat, Kyiv City Military Administration reported on Oct. 7.
No casualties or damage were recorded resulting from the drone attack.
"Today’s assault marks the fourth attack since the beginning of October," Kyiv officials wrote.
"Russian drones approached Kyiv in waves from various directions, and the air raid alert in the city lasted over two hours in total."
Air raid alerts were issued in several oblasts due to the new drone attack.
Explosions were heard in both Kyiv and Kharkiv. In Konotop, a missile strike was reported, Sumy came under guided bombs attack.
