Numerous explosions rocked cities across the Russian-occupied Crimea, local Telegram channels reported early on June 13, posting eyewitnesses photos and videos.
According to the Crimean Wind Telegram channel, residents of the Crimean capital, Simferopol, and its suburbs heard a series of explosions and spotted drones flying around 3 a.m. EET. Explosions were also reported in Yevpatoriya, Sevastopol, Bakhchisaray, Feodosiya, Alushta, Saki, Novofedorivka, Kacha, and the Kirovsky district.
Russia’s military sites, including the Saki, Hvardiyske, and Kirovske air bases, may have been targeted in the overnight attack.
As of June 13 morning, the occupying Russian authorities have not commented or released a statement.
