Ukraine fights off Russian drone barrage, 77 UAVs neutralized - Air Force

Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 46 of 83 Russian-launched drones overnight, with 31 more "lost on radars" or failed to reach their targets, Air Force reported on March 3.
Ukraine’s air defense operated over Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, intercepting enemy UAVs attempting to strike civilian and military targets.
Despite these efforts, damage was reported across Kharkiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhya oblasts.
- In Kharkiv, Russian Shahed drones hit a five-story residential building in the Kyivskyi district, injuring eight people.
- In Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast), drone strikes damaged apartment buildings, businesses, a medical facility, and other civilian infrastructure. At least one person was injured in the attack.
