Moscow under overnight drone attack, Domodedovo airport suspends flights

Air defense forces shot down the first drone heading toward the Russian capital at around 10:13 p.m. Approximately one hour later, he reported the destruction of a second drone.

As of late night, the Moscow mayor claimed that air defense units had allegedly shot down six drones flying in the direction of the city.

Amid the attack, Moscow's Domodedovo airport temporarily halted the arrival and departure of aircraft.

According to Russian Telegram channels, similar restrictions were also introduced at Pulkovo airport in Saint Petersburg.

Ukrainian drones have repeatedly reached Moscow Oblast. Specifically, the Russian capital was under a massive drone attack on July 7, which caused air defense systems to operate for several hours and triggered restrictions at local airports.
