Drones strike key electrical substation in Yevpatoria, trigger widespread blackouts

Large-scale fires broke out in temporarily occupied Yevpatoria amid suspected strikes on the Moinaki electrical substation overnight on July 10, local monitoring channel Crimean Wind reported.
Local residents reported widespread outages in the city and surrounding areas following the attack.
Analysts noted that a 1-billion-ruble ($13 million) overhaul of the electrical substation was completed in 2024, replacing power transformers and nearly quadrupling total capacity to 126 MVA.
